Lady Gaga Attacks Mike and Karen Pence For Being Christians: “I’m A Christian Woman”
During one of Lady Gaga’s raunchy concerts, she decided to take a moment to slam not only Donald Trump, but Mike Pence and his wife Karen.
Karen Pence will be teaching art at a Christian school in Virginia.
The uproar is over the fact that the school, Immanuel Christian School, bans LGBTQ children from attending and requires employees to declare their religious beliefs.
Let’s stop there and say that fact number one is that it is a private school because it is Christian. Therefore, it can do as it darn well pleases. But more importantly, if it is a Christian school, it should practice Christian values.
The school teaches biblical doctrine…why would an atheist be accepted into a school that holds the exact opposite views? Likewise, the Bible clearly condemns homosexuality, and the whole LGBTQ gamut fits into that category.
This is common sense, it truly is. Should a Reformed Presbyterian be a teacher at a Catholic school where they’ll be teaching the Bible? That makes no sense at all. They believe completely different things.
Anyway, back to Lady Gaga.
During her show she said,
“To Mike Pence, who thinks that it’s okay that his wife works at a school that bans LGBTQ, you’re wrong. You’re the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian,” Gaga told a cheering crowd.
“I am a Christian woman, and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome,” she continued. “So you can take all that disgrace, Mr. Pence, and look yourself in the mirror and you’ll find it right there.”
You can watch the video below:
Lady Gaga said, “…what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everybody is welcome.”
What says the Bible?
Or do you not know that the unrighteous1 will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. – 1 Cor. 6:9-10
Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. – Revelation 22:15
Seems to me that not everyone is welcome.
God forbid that Christians hold to Christian values in today’s world.
