Republican leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy made it clear on Wednesday that the GOP majority in the U.S. House will hold the Biden administration and Democrats accountable from “day one.” This includes investigating the origins of the Chinese coronavirus, Department of Justice targeting concerned parents, and the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“You deserve to know the origins of C0V!D. You deserve to know why the DOJ went after concerned parents. You deserve to know why we failed to keep American lives safe in Afghanistan. On day one a Republican majority will begin holding this administration accountable,” McCarthy said in a viral social media post.

McCarthy promised that his party will work hard to keep a watchful eye over the oppressive regime and hold them accountable for their decisions and actions. He said he would prioritize holding hearings on why U.S.-China relations have gone so far downhill during Joe Biden’s tenure as president, while also looking into ways to fix them going forward.

McCarthy also pledged to investigate why the Justice Department targeted concerned parents who were protesting school closures due to restrictions. Additionally, Rep. McCarthy said he intends to probe further into why Biden chose to still withdraw troops from Afghanistan when he did and in the way that he did.

While some may disagree with Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s priorities when it comes to holding Democrats accountable for their actions, one thing is certain – he stands firm in defending Republican, nay, American values and ensuring that justice is served under this regime no matter what it takes or how long it takes him get there! At least, that’s what we’re hoping. We do know that McCarthy is a RINO, but that doesn’t mean he’s a Democrat. Maybe he’ll actually follow through with what he promises. Hopefully, he’s not just saying this to win over the handful of Republicans who have said that they wouldn’t vote for him for Speaker. It will be interesting to see if Republicans can achieve their agenda while staying true to these values – only time will tell!
