Karine Jean-Pierre: “The Economy is in a Better Place Than it Has Been Historically” (VIDEO)
Karine Jean-Pierre is now the White House Press Secretary. She stepped in to fill the role after Jen Psaki jumped ship.
I figure she knew that the water was starting to get too deep and therefore, she decided to get the heck out of Dodge before she, and the Biden regime found themselves completely underwater.
While I do not support Jen Psaki or think that she was a good Press Secretary, I do think that she was fundamentally different than Karine Jean-Pierre. KJP should not even be in this role and it really makes me wonder if she’ll be out before too long as well.
At least Jen Psaki would twist stuff to make it sound like it wasn’t all that bad, or she would pretend like she didn’t know something just so that she could avoid it. KJP on the other hand just flat out lies to your face.
Recently, KJP made the ridiculous claim that the economy was in a better place now than it ever has been. No, seriously, she said that.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy wasn’t having it and challenged Jean-Pierre.
“High gas prices, people can’t get baby formula, the supply chain is messed up, everything is more expensive — where’s the good part?” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked KJP.
“What I’m trying to say, Peter, is that we understand that people are feeling this,” Jean-Pierre said.
“We are in a historic place in history — historic place right now — as we look at where we are with the economy,” she said. “What I’m trying to say to you, is that the economy is in a better place than it has been historically.”

We know what she’s trying to say. We can hear her just fine. The problem is that it’s so far from reality that we can’t believe that she’s even saying it.
