Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris was set to speak at a criminal justice reform at Benedict College, which is a school is traditionally known for being a “black college”

Instead, she decided to cancel. Would you like to know her reason?

She was butthurt that the college recognized President Donald Trump for the FIRST STEP Act. This is a bi-partisan piece of legislation that reduces prison sentences for non-violent offenses. So those who are in prison for things like drug felonies would be allowed to receive “good time credit” if they participate in educational or training programs that get them ready for life back on the outside.

Melanie Mason from the LA Times tweeted about Harris, “Kamala Harris’ campaign says she will skip tomorrow’s forum on criminal justice at Benedict College in SC, after President Trump was given an award there today. Instead, she’ll host a criminal justice roundtable in Columbia”

Harris said about Trump and the award, “Today, when it became clear Donald Trump would receive an award after decades of celebrating mass incarceration, pushing the death penalty for innocent Black Americans, rolling back police accountability measures and racist behavior that puts people’s lives at risk, and then learned all but ten Benedict students are excluded from participating, I cannot in good faith be complicit in papering over his record.”

President Trump has never done these things. She is flat out lying! I sure would like to see this “record” of his that she claims.

When Trump heard this he took to Twitter to slam Harris,

“Badly failing presidential candidate @KamalaHarris will not go to a very wonderful largely African American event today because yesterday I received a major award, at the same event, for being able to produce & sign into law major Criminal Justice Reform legislation, which will greatly help the African American community (and all other communities), and which was unable to get done in past administrations despite a tremendous desire for it. This and best unemployment numbers EVER is more than Kamala will EVER be able to do for African Americans!”

BOOM! He let her have it and it’s all 100% true. President Trump has done wonders for the black community and it’s so much more than any Democrat will ever do because they want to keep them in bondage.

UPDATE: She later changed her mind and decided to attend so she’s obviously not sincere about what she said.
