Kamala Responds To Heckler At Rally
Kamala Harris is facing serious backlash after a series of missteps, including her decision to skip the traditional Al Smith Dinner, a key event for reaching out to Catholic voters and other moderates.
Instead of attending, she sent a video that many found not only tone-deaf but offensive. The dinner, which has been a political tradition since 1946, is a golden opportunity for presidential candidates to bridge divides and appeal to a broader audience. But Harris chose to double down on her base, delivering attacks on Donald Trump in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to a crowd that was already behind her.
Preaching to the choir is one thing, but skipping a bipartisan event like the Al Smith Dinner is a missed opportunity that could haunt her campaign.
SCOOP:
Just spoke w/ the 2 Lacrosse University students,
who were kicked out of Kamala’s Wisconsin rally for saying, “Jesus is Lord.”
It’s real — it’s corroborated.

While Harris was in Wisconsin, things only got worse. During a rally in La Crosse, as she spoke on abortion, two attendees interrupted her by shouting, “Jesus is Lord.”
The disruption was quickly followed by Harris’ sharp and dismissive response, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally. No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street,” a clear jab at Trump’s event size. Her supporters cheered, but the mocking tone struck a sour note with many outside her base.
Unbelievable!!
As Kamala is on stage fear mongering about abortion, someone shouts “Jesus is Lord!” To which she replies:
“Oh, I think you guys are at the wrong rally.”
Christians are not welcome in Kamala’s Democrat Party. Vote accordingly. pic.twitter.com/aoJiRqnERK

This isn’t just a case of hecklers being heckled back—it’s about how Harris responded. She had the chance to show herself as a leader who can handle criticism with grace and reach out to voters who might not share her views. Instead, she opted for mockery. For a candidate trying to appeal to a divided electorate, this move felt like the wrong approach.
It’s especially telling given her contrasting response to pro-Gaza protesters on the same day. While she quickly shut down Christian protesters, she engaged more respectfully with Gaza protestors, revealing a double standard in how she treats those with differing views.
When someone shouted “Jesus is Lord” at a Kamala Harris rally, she responded by saying “you are at the wrong rally”
It makes sense when you remember that this is the same Kamala who, as a senator, aggressively pushed a bill that would gut the Religious Freedom Restoration Act pic.twitter.com/6uuMwFZFCV

Even prominent Republicans like Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) chimed in on social media, calling out Harris for her tone-deaf response. The video of the moment has gone viral, and it’s not hard to see why—Harris came off as dismissive, flippant, and out of touch with the voters she should be trying to win over.
