Kamala Harris Makes Absurd Comparison of January 6 During Speech (VIDEO)
One year has passed since the incident that took place on January 6 at the Capitol building.
Democrats have labeled it as a coup attempt and an insurrection which was led by President Trump and I’m sure that they believe it.
On Thursday morning, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris gave speeches to remember the anniversary. But one thing that Kamala said was completely ridiculous.
“Certain dates echo throughout history,” Harris said. “Including dates that instantly remind all who have lived them where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault. Dates that occupy not only a place on our calendar but a place in our collective memory. Dec. 7, 1941, Sept. 11, 2001, and Jan. 6, 2021.”
Sorry, but it’s not. On January 6th, some people came into the Capitol without weapons and wanted to convince the members of Congress to reject the certification of the votes from several states where fraud was suspected. Even Sen. Ted Cruz pleaded to simply delay it while they looked into it
I hate to say it, but I feel like this may need to be something that needs to be changed in our Constitution in order to accommodate our current times. Back when this was written, there was no suspicion of wide-scale fraud like we have today and from November to January 20 simply isn’t enough time to investigate everything properly. There either needs to be more time or there needs to be something put in place right away to investigate the results.
Even better would be to not allow it to happen in the first place! Put in place measures that PREVENT fraud, not enable it like they just did in California. There is no easier way of committing fraud than through mail-in ballots.
Sorry, but January 6th does not even belong in the same category and 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, not even close. Of the people who died that day, two of them died from cardiovascular disease and the cause of death was deemed to be natural.
Another died from an overdose. Another died from a stroke, four committed suicide, and one was an unarmed woman who was shot by Capitol police.
So when you take the health issues and suicide out, all you’re left with is an incompetent and cowardly officer who shot an unarmed woman who was posing no real threat.
I know where I was on 9/11 and that is something that I, along with many Americans won’t forget. I happen to know where I was on January 6 because it wasn’t that long ago and I was simply working, but it’s not going to stick in my memory as a day that is remotely similar.
