Journalist Visits Baltimore: Here’s What Residents REALLY THINK of Their City and Politicians
Fox Nation host Lawrence Jones took a trip to Baltimore to find out what their residents of the city really think about what President Trump has said about the city and its representative.
Jones reported, “They have made it very clear, they don’t care about the politics of things. But it’s very clear that liberal policies have definitely affected Baltimore. The question is, what would be the response. We’ve seen the failure of all these cities, including Baltimore where there is corruption.”
That is 100% spot on!
Honestly, that’s the problem in practically every sad excuse for a city in the United States. In fact, the most dangerous cities in the country are because of Democratic control.
According to News Talk,
According to 24/7 Wall Street’s analysis of violent crime rates published in USA Today earlier this year, St. Louis, Detroit, and Baltimore are also the three most dangerous cities in America with violent crime rates that each top 2,000 per 100,000 residents. By way of comparison, the national violent crime rate is 382.9 per 100,000 people.
The only other city in America to top 2,000 violent crimes per 100,000 people, Memphis, Tennessee, has never had a Republican mayor in its history.
In fact, nine of the ten most violent cities in the country have been dominated by Democrats for decades, including Kansas City, which hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1991, Cleveland, which has n’t had one since 1991, and Milwaukee, which hasn’t had one since 1908.
As Jones took to the streets, he asked people about their views on the city of Baltimore and its leaders.
“The crisis is not just the crime. But the crisis starts downtown with the government.”
“I personally don’t even want to live in Baltimore anymore and I’m afraid to actually raise a family here and this is my home,” another resident told Jones.
“There were no kids playing in the park, because the gang had taken over the park. You saw them selling drugs, right there. Nobody came to break it up. This is an American city. And if we say that we care about people and we want to evoke change, then we got to do something about it.”
“I understand in many circles, they think the conservative message wouldn’t be welcomed here. They don’t care if it’s a conservative message or a liberal message, they just want people to care about them and we have tried the liberal message for over 70 years in this town and it’s been reckless to these people here,” said Jones.
It sounds like they just want someone who cares and will take care of them and their city.
They even vouched for President Trump when he said that Baltimore is rat-infested; they said it was true.
