Joe Biden Tries Discrediting President Trump on the Historic USMCA Deal – Then Admits It’s Better than NAFTA (VIDEO)
One of the biggest things that Joe Biden has going against him, although there are many things that are going against him, is that he’s been in Washington for four decades and we’re where we are right now.
Most of these career politicians like Biden have been promising this and promising that for decades and it never happens. Democrats dangle that carrot in front of the donkey’s face and the donkey continues to go after it only to never actually get the carrot. That’s what Democrats are doing to America.
Biden said that NAFTA was a bad deal, but he and former President Obama had 8 years to do something about it and completely failed to do so.
Biden said that the reason they couldn’t get it done was because they had a Republican Congress. He must have forgotten that the 111th Congress when they had Democratic control in both the Senate and the House of Representatives? Why didn’t they try and fix it then?
Well, Biden had a sit-down interview with Jake Tapper and he actually pushed Biden on the USMCA vs the NAFTA agreement. Tapper asked if President Trump deserved credit for it. Here was Biden’s response:
Joe Biden: No, remember he isn’t the one who pushed that particular one in the past. The House amended the bill… By the way it’s a big deal though. Here is what they amended… He was giving Pharma a way out. Giving them a gigantic break just like he’s doing now, with Pharma. They’re building plants overseas and getting tax breaks for it. That’s what it was about with him.
Jake Tapper: (Looks annoyed) He renegotiated NAFTA and you didn’t is the point.
Joe Biden: Because was had a Republican congress that wouldn’t go along with us… negotiated.
Jake Tapper: But doesn’t he deserve some credit for that? It’s better. The USMCA is better than NAFTA.
Joe Biden: It is better than NAFTA.
Jake Tapper to Joe Biden: President Trump “renegotiated NAFTA and you didn’t”
