Behar Comments On Debate
Ok, so this was sort of funny and amazing to watch simultaneously.
ABC’s “The View” voiced strong opinions that President Biden should abandon his re-election campaign following his widely criticized performance at Thursday’s debate. This sentiment emerged after a montage of debate highlights aired, showcasing moments that raised concerns about Biden’s age and mental sharpness.
Co-host Sunny Hostin, a dedicated Biden supporter, expressed her disappointment. Sara Haines followed, stating, “It was really hard to watch and it kind of pains me to say this today, but I think President Biden needs to step down and be replaced.” Haines emphasized the urgency for Biden to consider stepping aside to ensure a Democratic victory against Trump in November. She noted that Biden’s team might have anticipated this, which could explain their push for an earlier debate.
Haines urged those close to Biden to have a difficult conversation about his future, stating, “Democrats need to stop spinning the age problem.” She highlighted the difference between Biden and co-host Joy Behar, who is also 81, stating, “Joy Behar at 81 is not Joe Biden at 81, and that was on full display last night.” Despite her criticism, Haines made it clear that if Biden and Trump are the nominees in November, she would still vote for Biden, fearing the alternative.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former Trump administration official turned critic, was shocked by Biden’s debate performance, saying, “It was stunningly worse than I expected.” Griffin called for Biden to put the country before his ambition and step aside, warning that a Trump versus Biden rematch would likely result in a Trump victory.
Hostin admitted Biden “lost that debate,” suggesting he might need to step down with grace and dignity. She believed both parties should consider changing their candidates, reflecting a growing sentiment among some Biden allies in the media.
Ana Navarro, a Republican who supports Democrats, wasn’t ready to give up on Biden just yet. She emphasized her long-standing support for Biden but acknowledged his debate performance was concerning. Navarro remained loyal, stating, “I’m not going to judge Joe Biden on 90 bad minutes.”
Joy Behar, another co-host, observed that Biden seemed more energetic later in the evening when addressing supporters, questioning what went wrong during the debate.
Behar also showed how stupid she was by claiming the debate was rigged to favor Trump.
Joy Behar of The View suggests the debate was skewed against Joe and that’s why he performed so poorly
Joe literally made all the conditions for the debate and it was held by his friends in the media

The discussion on “The View” also turned to potential Democratic replacements for Biden, with names like Vice President Kamala Harris, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg being mentioned. Griffin reiterated her belief that if Biden stays in the race, he will lose to Donald Trump, highlighting the high stakes for the Democratic Party.
As of the writing of this post the Biden campaign doubled down that Biden isn’t going anywhere.
