“Is That the Choice? $5 a Gallon Gas or a $61,000 Electric Car?” – Peter Doocy Wrecks WH Press Secretary Over Biden’s Insane Policies (VIDEO)
With the proposition of a federal gas tax “holiday”, we’re basically going to have no choice but to take the bait. If we drive normal vehicles, we are going to have to get gas.
This is not a good idea at all. Don’t get me wrong, I hate taxes just as much as the next guy, but it’s not like the tax is going away forever. It’s only a temporary thing to give Americans some relief.
The reason that this is such a stupid idea is because gas prices are still probably going to go up another $0.18 at some point and then it will be the same as if the “holiday” never even happened. Plus, the government still needs money. Where do you think that they’re going to get it? Well, they’re going to just print some more obviously. That way we can save a whopping $2-3 per fill up.
I wonder what happens when the government prints a bunch of money…oh yeah, inflation…like what we’re dealing with now. So, Biden, who said that they need more money, is going to print more money which will lead to even higher inflation.
But you can always just get an electric car, right? Well, that seems to be the idea being pushed by the left. The only thing is that our power grid already can’t handle our current consumption and the price of the average electric car is $61,000.
Recently, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy duked it out with Karine Jean-Pierre over the options we have before us.
“A lot of people can’t afford a $61,000 electric car and they are also having a hard time affording gas right now. That sounds like a painful transition,” Doocy said.
“We are in a transition to clean energy…it’s going to create jobs,” KJP said.
“Yeah, but who can afford an electric car? The average price is $61,000! Is that the choice $5 per gallon gas or a $61,000 electric car?” Doocy asked Jean-Pierre.
“That’s apples to oranges. It’s not the same,” she said as she rambled on about Biden’s gimmicky gas tax holiday.
Actually, it is the same. This woman has no idea what she’s talking about.
Doocy: "People can't afford an electric car… That sounds like a painful transition."
Jean-Pierre: "We are in a transition to clean energy."
