Hunter Biden Facing Several Federal Charges!
Federal prosecutors could potentially charge Hunter Biden with up to four crimes, one of which is a felony charge. Sources familiar with the internal deliberations revealed that the son of Joe Biden may face three misdemeanor counts of tax evasion and one felony gun charge, which is related to a possible false statement he provided to authorities. It is said that there is a growing frustration over the delay in filing charges, despite the concluded investigations by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over a year ago.
U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was appointed by former President Trump but retained by Joe Biden, holds the responsibility to make a final decision on this matter. The IRS Criminal Investigation division, the Justice Department, and the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware have all refrained from commenting on the case.
Misdemeanor tax evasion with the IRS carries a hefty fine of up to $250,000 per offense. Additionally, making a false statement to the FBI may lead to a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
Investigators began looking into Hunter Biden’s business relationships with foreign companies in 2018, as these firms tried to establish government relations within the US. The investigation scrutinized deals made with the state-owned Bank of China and foreign companies tied to China’s communist government. Along with family members and associate Rob Walker, the younger Biden allegedly earned around $11 million partnering with Chinese companies during his father’s time as Vice President and afterwards.
With control over Congress since January, House Republicans have expanded their investigation into the Biden family’s business affairs to determine whether President Biden played a role in facilitating these transactions or was even aware of them.
Recently, a whistleblower from the IRS informed the House Oversight Committee that the agency’s investigation is being mishandled. The whistleblower cited evidence that contradicts testimony from political appointees and described preferential treatment given to high-profile individuals under investigation. The way things are looking, I remain pessimistic, but hopeful that the Biden Crime Family will be taken down soon.
