How to Survive the Censorship Apocalypse from Big Tech
Many people have started to finally realize the massive censorship and the power that the tech giants actually hold.
In just the past week, Twitter has deleted or suspended the accounts of President Trump, Sidney Powell, General Flynn, Tom Fitton, and a host of others.
Folks this is only the beginning.
It’s not just Twitter either that is participating in this mass censorship. Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Spotify, and others are all targeting conservatives to silence them. This is literally happening right now. This is the kind of crap you see in North Korea or China.
I’ve been saying it for a while, but someone needs to create some alternatives to these tech giants before things get out of hand. Well, that time has come and things are out of hand now.
However, there are many alternatives that we have to turn to, but even those are currently being targeted.
I wanted to give make sure everyone was aware of the best alternatives currently to all of our social media outlets.
As of right now, Parler is the best competition to Twitter that is out there. They were recently shut down after Amazon removed them from their servers. They are currently looking to resolve that issue and should be back up very soon. They are run by free-speech advocates and Dan Bongino is one of the primary people involved in the company.
MeWe seems to be the place to go and looks very promising. I don’t know a lot about the company, but I believe that it is run through open source. Gab is another one that I will be testing soon once they get their new servers running due to the massive influx of new users.
I personally use Signal for my messaging that I know need to be safeguarded. Another alternative is Telegram Messenger. I have not used it yet. There are also rumors that there are some Russian connections, but I have not seen any actual evidence to suggest that it is.
Rumble is the big competitor that has picked up a lot of steam lately for hosting video content. Vimeo is another video hosting site that is probably YouTube’s largest competitor but would be more likely to go the way of censorship down the line. I know they have deleted some videos in the past, but I can’t remember what they were.
Most of you probably already know about DuckDuckGo. It is a great alternative to Google that doesn’t track you or manipulate search engine results.
By far the best web browser to replace Google Chrome would be Brave. It’s even supposed to be faster than Chrome and have better privacy than Firefox.
