There is a very real benefit to allowing your law-abiding citizens to defend themselves.

That benefit, of course, is that a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy long before the police would ever be able to get there.

In most cases, police are reactive rather than pro-active in terms of responding to crime. Meaning, they usually get there well AFTER the crime has been committed and are unable to do anything about it other than chase down the crook after the fact.

Many times, when a good guy with a gun is there, that crime is stopped. And, on occasion, instant justice is handed out, as was the case during a recent robbery in Philadelphia at a local Wingstop restaurant.

The aspiring thug entered the store around 10:30 p.m. on a Sunday. He reportedly moved behind the counter with a gun in hand and demanded the money. Little did he know his life was about to be ended.

Another customer wandered into the store in the midst of the attempted robbery. As he came inside, the would-be thief asked him for his cell phone. The customer reached, only he drew his weapon and opened fire.

According to local police, the law-abiding citizen hit the thug in the neck, ending his life.

The suspect reportedly had a significant sheet and the citizen that put him down did have a concealed carry permit.

This is a right, that if Democrats have their way, Americans will no longer have. Reports have leaked out of the Biden camp that his top advisers want him to use Executive Orders to institute very heavy gun control laws in the country.

This would more than likely be some type of stop-gap measure while Biden charges Congress with legislating permanent change to our federal gun laws. If Democrats win those two remaining Senate seats in Georgia, sadly, there will be no obstacles in Biden’s way from carrying out that plan.
