Gretchen Whitmer Facing Uphill Battle After Learning Who She’s Competing Against in November
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, or as I like to refer to her as, the Wicked Witch of the North, is hands down one of the worst and most hypocritical governors in the entire country.
She is up there with the likes of people like Gavin Newsom, which if you know anything about Newsom, and I’m sure that you do, then you know that this is just bad.
During the lockdowns, she was telling everyone to do one thing, yet going and doing it herself. She was imposing mandates on businesses that was destroying their livelihoods while wrecking their own economy at the same time.
She’s a terrible ruler and needs kicked out of office. And it looks like Tudor Dixon might be the person to do it.
Dixon won the Republican nomination this week to run against Whitmer for governor. She won by a wide margin against the rest of her Republican opponents. She is very well-liked and it shows.
Dixon called out Whitmer for having, “done so much damage to the state.”
“You look at what her record is, and we really strongly believe if we just hold her to her record, that’s enough to remind the people of Michigan that we can have a much better state,” Dixon remarked.
Earlier on Tuesday, Whitmer was asked about a matchup with Dixon and responded by referring to potential opponents as “culture warriors.” “You’ve got culture warriors and you’ve got someone who’s a problem solver. That’s how I’ve always operated and that’s how I’ll continue to,” the governor said.
Dixon has brought up the culture war during the race, including the issue of drag queens performing in front of children. “As Governor, I will sign a bill that creates severe criminal penalties for adults who involve children in drag shows,” Dixon tweeted in early June.
“This type of behavior is criminal child sexually abusive activity,” she added. “We will make Michigan the toughest state in the country on child sex abusers.”
I sure hope that she beats Whitmer. It is badly needed. Nobody wants to remain under the oppression of this tyrant, but sadly, too many Democrats are blinded by their party status.
