“Government Psychic” Running For Michigan State House
Well, who would have saw that coming?
I know, Kevin Seamon, that’s who. He claims to be a “government psychic”…whatever that is.
According to MLive,
Kevin Seamon has announced his candidacy for the 94th District seat in the Michigan House of Representatives. If he wins, he plans to focus on jobs, education and wages.
Seamon makes a variety of claims about working for the federal government as an agent and a psychic.
In a written statement, Seamon said, “In the last election, I wasn’t allowed to use my Military Title as I am Sr. Commander Commando Legionnaire Kevin Christopher Seamon of the United States Military in Saginaw, Michigan. I am also Federal Agent White Knight 196. James Bond is 007. I am 196. I am a Real Life Government Psychic.”
I’m not sure if you could figure this out already or not, but he’s a Democrat.
This is actually Seamon’s second time at running for the district. He made an attempt at in 2016, but lost to Republican Tim Kelly. I guess he must have missed that one.
As far as government psychics go, there have been plenty of claims over the years in regards to the government’s involvement in psychic research. Most notably, there is the book and movie by Jon Ronson titled The Men Who Stare at Goats.
Ronson is put on the historical trail of the “men who stare at goats”—Special Forces soldiers who supposedly experimented with psychic powers against de-bleated goats at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, at the now-decommissioned “Goat Lab” medical training facility. He examines, and dispenses with, several candidates for the legendary “master sergeant” (Chapter 2) who was reported to have killed a goat simply by staring at it, in the earliest days of the program. A martial arts instructor named Guy Savelli claims to be the one, according to Wikipedia.
I’m just going to leave it at that because maybe he knows something that we don’t?
