GOOD OR BAD? Fox News Hires Democratic DNC Chair As Contributor
In a very interesting announcement on Monday, Fox News made a statement about their newest contributor.
The contributor is none other than Donna Brazile herself.
Donna Brazile was the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee during the last election cycle after Debbie Wasserman Schultz was removed from the position over a scandal during the election. Schultz and the DNC were actually both sued for rigging the primary in favor of Hillary.
Brazile said in a statement about her move to Fox News,
“I know I’m going to get criticized from my friends in the progressive movement for being on FOX News. My response is that, if we’ve learned anything from the 2016 election, it is that we can’t have a country where we don’t talk to those who disagree with our political views.
There’s an audience on FOX News that doesn’t hear enough from Democrats. We have to engage that audience and show Americans of every stripe what we stand for rather than retreat into our ‘safe spaces’ where we simply agree with each other. For there is no safety in self-limiting numbers.
“You can be darn sure that I’m still going to be me on FOX News. I’m going to do what I always do: and dish it out straight, exactly as I see it, with just as much New Orleans hot sauce as folks expect.”
Brazile was actually the one who exposed some of the shady things done by Hillary during her running against Bernie Sanders.
So is this a good thing or a bad thing to have Brazile join Fox News?
It could be bad because they could be letting more liberalism creep into the network, or on the other hand, it could be a good thing if Brazile can approach her position is an honest way as she did with exposing Wasserman Schultz when she was robbing other candidates and giving funds to Hillary.
