Giuliani Speaks Out On Statement on Sidney Powell
Last week, the Trump legal team put out a puzzling statement on Sidney Powell, who has been working with them in getting to the bottom of this election fraud scandal.
The statement that was released was a way of distancing themselves from Powell in some way.
Everyone was confused about this and honestly, it made a lot of people lose hope in trying to get the proper results of the election.
I think I’m where Tucker Carlson and the rest of Americans are right now, if she’s got something, put it out there. Stop giving us these false hopes and getting our expectations sky high and not actually deliver the goods.
My theory for the distancing measure was that they needed to do so for financial reasons. Being that she’s not an official government employee and there is some fundraising going on for the election investigation, they needed to be legally separate in order to keep the ball rolling.
However, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani had something else to say about it.
“I think it’s because we’re pursuing two different theories,” Giuliani said. He said the Trump legal team is focused on “misconduct of the election” by state officials, which he argued deprived the constitutional rights of the president, and predicted that several prongs of their endeavor, including the legal fight in Pennsylvania, will make their way to the Supreme Court.
“Our theory of the case to get to the Supreme Court, now in four places and it’s soon going to be in two others—and there will be an overall lawsuit—is basically misconduct of the election by state officials in at least five or six different states in which the misconduct of the election involved deprivation of constitutional rights for the president.”
He didn’t go into any detail about what Powell’s theory is, but it’s supposed to be “biblical”, so we’ll see.
