Fox News Corporation has recently introduced a series of policies to its employee handbook, dated January 2021, that are intended to accommodate and support gender transitioning in the workplace. This includes allowing employees to use bathrooms and dress in attire that matches their perceived gender identity, as well as using the pronouns they prefer. Furthermore, the workplace transition plan offered by Fox News seeks to make it easier for employees to transition genders by providing guidance and support.

The introduction of these policies has sparked controversy among some conservatives, who feel that Fox News is betraying its traditional commitment to counteracting mainstream media and anti-conservative bias. This was demonstrated when Fox Digital used activist language around “gender-affirming care” in stories on its website, and when it used female pronouns for transgender TikTok celebrity Dylan Mulvaney and swimmer Lia Thomas (formerly known as Will Thomas).

In addition, a June 2022 on-air segment praised a child’s gender transition as an “inspiration to others”, with accompanying footage of California state Sen. Scott Weiner—a far-left Democrat responsible for trying to soften s*x offender registry requirements for certain acts with minors—and depicting activist claims that children may be driven towards ending their own lives if they are not allowed to transition.
