Former MLB Pitcher “Absolutely Considering” Running For Congress In Arizona
Retired Major League Baseball pitcher Curt Schilling has said that he is seriously considering running for Congress in his home state of Arizona.
During an interview with Armed American Radio, the retired Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox pitcher said, “I haven’t said anything publicly, but I’m considering going back to Arizona and running for a congressional seat, one of the blue ones.”
Schilling continued, “It’s something that my wife and I have talked about, and she’s now becoming more and more pumped at the potential. Obviously we’re still quite a few discussions away, but yeah, it’s something we’re absolutely considering.”
This isn’t the first time that Schilling has considered running for a congressional seat. He told Fox News that he was dead serious about challenging Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren in 2018. Someone needs to get her out of there and I’m sure Curt Schilling would do a fine job and getting Pocahontas out of Washington.
The pitcher also once worked as a baseball analyst at ESPN but was let go back in 2016.
All he did was share a meme on social media about transgender bathroom policies.
He announced that he was not fired because he spoke his mind, he was fired because he was a conservative.
Schilling said on Twitter,
We want our country back. Don’t care about color, race, sexual preferences or pronouns, just care you are a law abiding AMERICAN. To that end PLEASE HELP ME get @PathForFreedom elected!!!! He’s on the border! Can flip blue to red!! Needs $$$! Give you my word he can be trusted!

President Trump seems to be a fan of Schilling as well. He tweeted back in January,
Curt Schilling deserves to be in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Great record, especially when under pressure and when it mattered most. Do what everyone in Baseball knows is right! @marklevinshow
