Eric Swalwell Uses Tragic Deaths from Tornadoes in KY to Attack Rand Paul
People like Eric Swalwell should not even be allowed to be in Congress to begin with. This man is just one of the more horrible people in the House of Representatives.
We all know about his dealings with Chinese spies and that alone should disqualify him from holding a seat in government, but I also think that there is something that should be said about representatives who speak in a way that just makes you want to hate them.
Everyone saw the tragedy that unfolded in several states over the weekend as tornadoes ripped through state after state killing more than 100 people.
Well, you know the motto of the Democrats, don’t you? Never let a tragedy go to waste. In this case, he’s making sure that he uses the deaths of these people to throw a jab at others for political gain.
Sen. Rand Paul had tweeted,
Our hearts are broken for all those suffering from last night’s terrible storms .
I and my team will do all we can to assist local and state officials as they lead the immediate response, and will aggressively help families, businesses, and officials access recovery resources.

And:
We should do all we can to help our Kentucky neighbors. God be with them — they are hurting. But do not for one second forget that @RandPaul has voted against helping most Americans most times they’re in need.
This afternoon I joined a call w/ FEMA Director Criswell to help coordinate relief for the Commonwealth. FEMA has committed supplies & resources to assist in the ongoing efforts to save lives. I look forward to Director Criswell’s visit & will continue to aid fellow Kentuckians.

Here was what Swalwell responded with:

What a jerk! Thankfully, people see this and they’re not taking it too kindly. They went on the attack on Twitter
It’s sad politics have dipped to this level. Genuinely disgusting.

He’s only opposed how we fund it. He’s never questioned the need. pic.twitter.com/JkSgwdhT8J

If anyone knows the disastrous effects of sudden large gusts of wind, it sure is you, FangFang.

Really? Have to get political, can't just be empathetic? When you do that, it tells those folks from Kentucky who are hurting right now that they aren't really important, just something to use for cheap political points. The avg person sees you pandering, we see you

why are you like this

We can always count on you to have the worst “can’t read the room” take of the day.

People like Swalwell and those who endorse his remarks really have degraded to a new level of dumb.
