I like my guns, how about you?

Today’s election stands with the most historic US elections, perhaps most notably, the election of 1860, when Americans also had to choose a president in the midst of a pending national crisis. For gun owners, the general election of 2020 is no less immediate of a threat. The Harris/Biden ticket is a sure one-way path to substantial firearms abolition in the US. Gun ownership is a human RIGHT recognized (but not created) by the Constitution, not merely a privilege granted by the government. As I have written before, Liberals HATE guns and the Second Amendment because it allows citizens a degree of autonomy from the government, and Liberals want the government to control every decision to make. 

As laid out in their campaign website, Kamala Harris and her cuckold puppet Joe Biden are determined to massively diminish your rights under the Second Amendment to protect yourself, your family, and your community. They are determined to force you to rely on the government for even the most basic protection, all while they champion defunding the police. In particular, Harris/Biden want to eradicate the class of weapons properly known as “modern sporting rifles,” the best example of which is the AR-15. These are referred to pejoratively as “assault weapons,” a term that has no real definition beyond being a firearm that scares Liberals (which is all guns, in fact). The modern sporting rifle, or MSR, is the most popular firearm in the United States, with an estimated 20+ million currently in the hands of US citizens. Therefore, to destroy access and ownership of this class of weapon would be to largely ban firearms in the US at large. Not to mention that modern sporting rifles and pistols (those with barrels under 16 inches) are far and away the most effective way for a person to defend themselves from attack. 

As stated on the campaign website, Harris/Biden list 5 particularly heinous agenda items for gun owners.

Assault Weapon Ban

First, a ban on “assault weapons” and “high-capacity” magazines, coupled with mandatory buybacks for existing weapons. “High-capacity” magazines are actually just the industry-standard 30-round magazines. The “high-capacity” terminology, just like the term “assault weapon,” is a mere scare tactic. So modern sporting rifles and the magazines that feed them will be banned. Existing weapons will be confiscated through a “buy-back” program that will pay a set and very low set amount for each so-called “assault weapon.” Many people pay thousands for these firearms, and Harris/Biden will take them from you for $200. But that $200 is going back to the government, too, because if you want to keep any of your ARs or any of your magazines, you will have to register them with the ATF under the provisions of the National Firearms Act, which controls machine guns, suppressors, and short barrel rifles and shotguns. 

Ban Stockpiling

Next, Harris/Biden want to reduce “stockpiling” of weapons by restricting gun purchases to one per month. So if a manufacturer or gun store has a sale or other promotion, or it’s Christmas and you’re purchasing firearms as gifts (another target not on this list), you will be forbidden from doing so. 

End Online Gun Sales

Third, Harris/Biden will end the online sale of firearms and ammunition. This provision is offered without explanation. Not a surprise, given that it makes no sense. When a gun is sold online, it is not simply mailed to the buyer, as if ordering off Amazon. It goes to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder, who runs a background check. Only the payment is processed online. The gun sector of the economy, like every other sector, has moved substantially online. To prevent the online commerce in firearms, ammunition and gun parts, which people use to build their own (totally legal) firearms, would be to set the gun sector back to the metaphorical Stone Age. Obsolescence is exactly what these people want, because the goal is eradication, not “safety.”

License To Own A Gun

Fourth, the Democratic Duo want to set up state licensing programs that will require prospective buyers to obtain a license before purchasing a gun. In other words, a background check to ensure no felony convictions, etc., isn’t sufficient for Harris/Biden; you actually must have the government’s permission to exercise your Second Amendment rights! And quite obviously, licensees will be on a list, so that the government knows everyone who has (legally) purchased a gun. 

No Guns For School Police

Finally, the presidential hopeful and her semi-senile bobblehead will prevent states from protecting school children by arming and training teachers with firearms. According to their website, “We should be passing rational gun laws, not requiring educators…to also protect the safety of their students.” These two hate guns so much, they would literally rather leave students defenseless! The fear, no doubt, is that positive coverage of a shooting stopped by an armed teacher would reverse the Democrats’ entire anti-constitutional campaign against the Second Amendment. 

In sum, America’s rights are literally on the line in this election. If Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have their way, you will be left holding a golf club against an armed intruder, who isn’t overly concerned about the niceties of the law. If they win, innocent American families will suffer.
