Early 2000s Kid’s Show Gets Reboot Featuring LGBTQ Character and Women in Same Sex Relationship
Occasionally, we see shows that we either grew up with or watched when we were younger get a reboot. Nowadays, it’s not usually a good thing.
The reason it’s not a good thing now is because it’s usually liberals getting a hold of these shows and inserting their ridiculous agenda into the show in some way.
The latest show to suffer this treatment is “Clifford the Big Red Dog”. There is a chance that you may have read some of the books when you were a kid and may have seen some episodes of the show in the early 2000s. I have seen the show, but I was a little too old to watch it when it came out, but my little sister watched it.
Well, the show is coming back, but will be featuring a recurring LGBTQ character and a lesbian couple. One of the girl’s friends has two moms and no dad.
According to Christian Headlines,
In the episode in question, “The Big Red Tomato/Dogbot,” Emily Elizabeth holds an outdoor dinner party for her friend Samantha. When the dinner is set to begin, Samantha walks up with her two moms.
“Won’t you please join us?” Emily Elizabeth asks.
“It would be our pleasure,” one of the women replies. “Oooh, something smells delicious!”
Samantha and her moms then prepare to sit down and eat dinner with Emily Elizabeth and her mom as Clifford watches.
The two moms are not identified within the episode, but the credits call them “Dr. Mulberry” and “Ms. Mulberry.” In other episodes, Samantha calls each of the women “Mom.” In the episode titled “The Birdwell Island Blues/The Big Red World,” she calls Dr. Mulberry “Mom,” and in “Making Lemonade Out of Lemons/The Watering Hole,” she calls Ms. Mulberry “Mom.”
The show is currently on Amazon Prime.
