House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has recently granted Fox News host Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of security footage from the US Capitol on January 6th. This has caused Democrats to be in a full panic mode, as they fear what Carlson might uncover and how it could affect their political agenda.

The decision by McCarthy has been met with criticism from House Homeland Security Committee ranking Democrat Bennie Thompson (MS), who blasted McCarthy for his move. Thompson said that the footage should have been provided to Congress for investigation purposes instead of being given to a news organization.

However, many conservatives are praising McCarthy’s decision and believe that Carlson will uncover evidence that will prove that the January 6th attack was not an insurrection or an attempted coup, but rather a protest gone wrong. They argue that if this is true, then Democrats have been using the attack to push their own political agenda and are now panicking because they know that Carlson will expose them.

In addition, some conservatives also believe that giving Carlson access to the footage is necessary in order for him to properly investigate what happened on January 6th and get answers about why certain events occurred. They argue that without access to the footage, there is no way for anyone to truly understand what happened on that day and why it happened.

Overall, Democrats are in full panic mode after this because they know what’s on those videos. They know why they don’t want the public seeing them and that’s because there is likely to be some video evidence that is contrary to the narrative that they’ve been feeding the American public for over two years now. But we’re not children and they’re not our parents. We don’t need them hiding truth from us. We deserve to have all of the information so we can draw our own conclusions.
