Democrat Governors on the Chopping Block by DOJ After Policies Which Led to 75,000 Nursing Home Deaths
The Department of Justice is taking action against some of the terrible Democratic governors whose policies led to the deaths of at least 75,000 people in nursing homes.
Governors Andrew Cuomo, Gretchen Whitmer, Phil Murphy, Gavin Newsom, and Tom Wolf are all under investigation after their policies resulted in the deaths of so many people after forcing nursing homes to accept people who had tested positive for COVID.
Approximately 45% of all of the US coronavirus deaths came from nursing homes. When you consider what the current US population is for those who actually live in nursing homes, the problem becomes much more defined.
Nursing homes residents make up only 0.6% of the population!
Less than 1% of the entire population account for 45% of all coronavirus deaths.
This is a travesty and it’s largely because of the absurd policies that these brainless governors put in place.
The Justice Department (DOJ) on Wednesday requested data from four governors on their orders requiring nursing homes to admit coronavirus patients.
“Protecting the rights of some of society’s most vulnerable members, including elderly nursing home residents, is one of our country’s most important obligations,” Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Division Eric Dreiband said in a statement.
“We must ensure they are adequately cared for with dignity and respect and not unnecessarily put at risk.”
The department requested data from Govs. Andrew Cuomo (D) of New York, Phil Murphy (D) of New Jersey, Tom Wolf (D) of Pennsylvania and Gretchen Whitmer (D) of Michigan.
New York, which has more deaths from the virus than any other state and became coronavirus hotspot at the start of the pandemic, issued its order on March 25.
