Demand and Prices for Books Skyrocket After Cancel Culture Strikes
The Cancel Culture has effectively canceled Dr. Seuss, at least, to some extent.
The company that published Dr. Seuss books has announced that it will stop publishing a handful of Dr. Seuss books.
Since this announcement, the demand and the prices have skyrocketed on these books. I did a search this morning and I’m seeing anywhere from $500-$1500 for copies.
I’m deeply regretting not buying a few of these books. If you noticed, I recently wrote about how the Cancel Culture was targeting Dr. Seuss this week. I had the little chart that showed which books these liberals had the biggest problem with.
There were a total of eight books that had something checked off as being more than the fake “white supremacy” and those books were, “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer: Are You Smarter Than the Cat in the Hat?,” “Oh, the Places You’ll Go,” “Because a Little Bug Went Ka-Choo,” and “Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?”
Of those books that were canceled from those eight, “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer: Are You Smarter Than the Cat in the Hat?” were canceled along with two others, “McElligot’s Pool,” and “On Beyond Zebra!”
I looked at On Beyond Zebra and the only things I could possibly find was the mention of “Columbus” and this guy:
That’s really I could find in that book. I don’t even know who is supposed to be offended by this person who is known as Nazzim of Bazzim…a fictional land.
It is unreal just how easily people WANT to be offended. People want to be weak it seems.
