Delusional Biden Gets Called Out by Top Oil Exec. After Being Blamed for Prices
There is one reason and one reason only why we are paying the astronomical prices that we are for gas and other fuels. It’s because of what Joe Biden did on Day One after he was sworn into office.
He killed American oil production. He shut down pipelines and laid off thousands of hard-working Americans who worked to put food on their table and to keep our fuel prices low.
But he wants to blame Russia for the catastrophe. Sorry, but gas prices were already shooting through the roof before that even happened.
The average price of a gallon of gas is now over $5 and in some places where it is more expensive to begin with, it’s already over $10 per gallon. Families can’t function with this crap. America will be on the brink of collapse if this continues.
But all the Democrats can do is tell everyone to buy electric cars, even though here in the south they’re already telling us to stop using so much electricity because we’re using more with this heat wave. How are we supposed to charge electric cars if the current grid can’t handle this heat wave?
But Biden demands action from the oil industry.
“The crunch that families are facing deserves immediate action,” Biden wrote in a letter this week to seven oil refiners, including Exxon. “Your companies need to work with my Administration to bring forward concrete, near-term solutions that address the crisis.”
In the letter, Biden suggested that he might use emergency powers, adding that his “administration is prepared to use all reasonable and appropriate Federal Government tools and emergency authorities to increase refinery capacity and output in the near term, and to ensure that every region of this country is appropriately supplied.”
Well, not willing to put up with this old man’s BS, American Petroleum Institute CEO Mike Sommers issued a statement:
“While we appreciate the opportunity to open increased dialogue with the White House, the administration’s misguided policy agenda shifting away from domestic oil and natural gas has compounded inflationary pressures and added headwinds to companies’ daily efforts to meet growing energy needs while reducing emissions,” Sommers said.
I’m glad he said it. We’re not stupid. We know what had caused this problem so this moron of a president can play dumb all he wants, but we know that he has single-handedly led us into this disaster.
