Deeply Disturbing Order Issued in UK for Certain COVID-19 Patients
The times that we are living in currently are deeply disturbing. I would say that it’s unparalleled to anything in our history, but that would be untruthful.
I can actually think of a number of things that were pretty bad. Some things that come to mind are Adolf Hitler’s Holocaust, Joseph Stalin’s starving millions of people to death, and of course, Mao Zedong’s Great Leap Forward leading to the deaths of approximately 45 million people.
Many want to try and blame the deaths in the U.S. on President Trump, claiming that he is responsible for every single death that has resulted from the virus, essentially labeling this as his “holocaust”.
That, of course, is just idiotic to even state because there have been many lives saved as a result of President Trump’s diligent work against the virus.
But I’ll tell you is about to be just as bad as a holocaust? The new policy they just put in place in the U.K. People with COVID-19 who also have learning disabilities are no longer going to be resuscitated. That’s right. Doctors and nurses have deemed them not worthy of saving so they’re going to just let them die.
People with learning disabilities have been given do not resuscitate orders during the second wave of the pandemic, in spite of widespread condemnation of the practice last year and an urgent investigation by the care watchdog.
Mencap said it had received reports in January from people with learning disabilities that they had been told they would not be resuscitated if they were taken ill with Covid-19.
The Care Quality Commission said in December that inappropriate Do Not Attempt Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (DNACPR) notices had caused potentially avoidable deaths last year.
DNACPRs are usually made for people who are too frail to benefit from CPR, but Mencap said some seem to have been issued for people simply because they had a learning disability. The CQC is due to publish a report on the practice within weeks.
This is absolutely shocking and disturbing and whoever came up with these policies should be locked up and have the key thrown away.
