Corrupt Gavin Newsom Trying to Defy Own Mandate to Exempt Union That Donated to His Campaign
We’re starting to see more of the hypocrisy that plagues the democratic governors come out into the open with this recent vaccine mandate. The truth is the mandate is no mandate at the moment it’s a theoretical mandate. However, liberals are jumping on this opportunity with full force that is unless it has something to do with them personally.
One of the clearest examples of this happening is in California, of course.
Nancy Pelosi’s nephew, California Governor Gavin Newsom, who recently survived a recall election, is fighting to make sure everyone in the state is vaccinated through mandates. He’s even mandating that children be vaccinated from K-12 grade even though vaccines aren’t even available for young children yet.
So his policy is obviously that everyone should get vaccinated…right?
Wrong!
Newsom is trying to allow an exemption for a union that donated $1.75 million to his campaign.
The news comes after Newsom told CBS News “we need to stiffen our spines and lean into keeping people safe and healthy,” arguing in favor of increasing mandates by saying “[w]e shouldn’t be timid in trying to protect people’s lives and mitigate the spread and transmission of the disease.”
One vaccine mandate Newsom does not support, however, is the one affecting the members of the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA), a powerful state prison guard union that helped bankroll Newsom’s recall success with a massive $1.75 million campaign donation in July.
Representing 28,000 officers statewide, the CCPOA came out strongly in support of the medical freedoms of its members, arguing that prison workers ought to be allowed to voluntarily choose or decline vaccination.
Don’t try and tell me that there is no conflict of interest here. Our politicians are WAY too corrupt nowadays. We honestly do need a big reset on the way our government operates, but not the “Great Reset” that many have talked about.
