Condoleezza Rice Shreds Critical Race Theory into a Million Pieces (VIDEO)
This week, Condoleezza Rich made an appearance on The View.
What she ended up accomplishing is something that I hope reverberates throughout the country, because she completely wrecked the whole idea of Critical Race Theory.
“I come out of an academic institution and this is something that academics debate; what’s the role of race and so forth? I grew up in segregated Birmingham, Alabama. I went to segregated schools until we moved to Denver. My parents never thought I would grow up in a world without prejudice. My parents told me you’ll overcome it and you can become whatever you want to be. The way we’re talking about race is that it either seems so big that somehow white people now have to feel guilty for everything that happened in the past. I don’t think that’s very productive. Or black people feel disempowered by race. I would like black kids to be completely empowered to know they are beautiful in their blackness, but in order to do that, I don’t have to make white kids feel bad for being white. So somehow this is a conversation that has gone in the wrong direction.”
It’s crazy that she even got some pushback on this. Surprisingly, Whoopi seemed to be on the same side as Rice, and truth be told, I really don’t think the rest of the conversation got anywhere. But man…what Condoleezza Rice said in that moment was absolutely powerful.
Also, the number of things happening across the country that the one co-host read off flies right in the face of those who reject the fact that CRT is being taught at levels lower than college. The first person that comes to mind is Ana Kasparian from The Young Turks in a recent debate with Ben Shapiro. By the way, if you didn’t watch this debate, you should. I’ll put the video just below.
