CNN Tries To Do Damage Control After Joe Rogan Calls Out Their Network and Medical Expert (VIDEO)
Last week, CNN’s know-it-all doctor Sanja Gupta went on the Joe Rogan show. I think one of the big reasons he went on was to promote his new book.
While Gupta was on the show, Rogan confronted Gupta on CNN’s lying about Joe Rogan taking horse dewormer for COVID.
Gupta tried to side-step it and talk about something different, but Rogan wouldn’t let him off the hook. Here’s the video in case you missed it last week:
I think it’s pretty clear that Gupta got his butt handed to him in this interview. But following this interview, CNN tried to do some damage control on the matter. Don Lemon even went as far as even doubling down and trying to defend what they said.
CNN anchor Don Lemon tried to help out Dr. Sanjay Gupta following his disastrous interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, where he got Gupta to admit it was misleading for CNN to solely label Ivermectin as just “horse de-wormer” when Rogan was diagnosed with COVID-19.
In the podcast interview, Rogan pressed Gupta for why CNN would call Ivermectin “horse de-wormer” when there is a human version to be used for legitimate circumstances. Gupta said he did not know why the network did it and did not question it.
“Listen, I think it’s also very important, I know it’s in large part a tongue-in-cheek interview because it’s Joe Rogan and there’s lots — you’re jockeying back and forth. But he did say something about Ivermectin that I think wasn’t actually correct about CNN and lying. Okay? Ivermectin is a drug that is commonly used as a horse de-wormer.
So, it is not a lie to say that the drug is used as a horse de-wormer. I think that’s important. And it is not approved for COVID. Correct?” Lemon asked.
CNN’s @DonLemon: “It is not a lie to say that [Ivermectin] is used as a horse de-wormer. I think that’s important. And it is not approved for Covid."@drsanjaygupta: “Correct … If you look at the data, there is no evidence that it really works [against Covid]." pic.twitter.com/eDpJUxrsqY

If all CNN had said was that Ivermectin is a drug that is commonly used as a horse dewormer, then that would be a whole other issue. There is a difference between horse dewormer and Ivermectin just as there is a difference between apples and apple juice.
