CNN Discusses Report On Social Media Account
CNN’s Daniel Dale has exposed Vice President Kamala Harris’s official rapid response X account, @KamalaHQ, for consistently using misleading video clips and captions to attack former President Donald Trump. In an eight-part takedown, Dale revealed that the Harris campaign has made a habit of distorting Trump’s words and actions to misinform its 1.3 million followers.

The first example involved a video from a Pennsylvania rally, edited to make it appear that Trump forgot which state he was in. The full footage, however, showed Trump correctly identifying a group from North Carolina in the audience, undermining the Harris cam-paign’s misleading portrayal. This wasn’t a one-off incident; a similar post last week wrongly suggested that Trump confused Arizona for Pennsylvania when, in fact, he was addressing Pennsylvania’s migrant crisis.
Dale also debunked a third clip where the @KamalaHQ account twisted Trump’s 2017 Charlottesville comments. The account falsely implied Trump defended neo-Nazis, but the full video made clear that Trump was referring to peaceful protesters on both sides, not white supremacists.

The fourth example involved Senator JD Vance’s comments on veterans’ healthcare. @KamalaHQ clipped his remarks to suggest he supported full privatization of VA services, cutting off his full explanation about providing veterans with more healthcare options while maintaining essential VA services.
Harris’ campaign attempted to defend its spin on these issues, but the damage was done. The @KamalaHQ account has repeatedly misled the public by manipulating Trump’s words for political gain, eroding trust and fueling divisiveness. And make no mistake—this isn’t just sloppy messaging; it’s intentional distortion.

The left has long claimed the moral high ground, constantly lecturing about disinformation. Yet here we see Harris’s own campaign peddling manipulated videos and half-truths with no regard for honest discourse. The hypocrisy is staggering. While the media will eagerly fact-check every word from conservative figures, it’s crickets when Harris and her team engage in the same underhanded tactics. This is the same crowd that constantly preaches about lowering the temperature of political rhetoric, yet they’re the ones inflaming it through lies and selective outrage.
Q: Would you consider privatizing veterans health care?
