Earlier this month, three Americans were reported to have died at a Sandals resort in the Bahamas.

The incident was labeled as extremely mysterious because nobody knew what caused their deaths. There were no real tell-tale signs of really anything that could have caused their deaths. Any why would all three of them have died if it was something more natural and not an act of malice?

It was said that none of the deceased showed any signs of trauma, but did show signs of convulsions. There was no foul play expected in the deaths.

That said, that doesn’t mean that these deaths are any less mysterious. Three people don’t just die like that for no good reason.

Now, the medical examiner believes that he has determined the cause of death for the victims. All three died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

That is scary, and it begs the question; how did they die from carbon monoxide poisoning inside their rooms? Imagine going on a luxurious vacation to a fancy resort that isn’t even safe and could lead to your death. This could have happened to anyone.

Why are there not carbon monoxide detectors in the rooms to begin with? If it’s a possibility that there could be carbon monoxide anywhere on the property, then there should definitely be detectors in every room.

It really makes you think about your own mortality. You never know when it’s your turn to die. They were doing nothing wrong. They weren’t the victims of any violent crimes or in a car accident. They essentially died in their sleep after breathing too much toxic air. You or I could be next, therefore, we should all make sure that our allegiance lies with the one who is able to deliver us from the grave.
