Carlee Russell Gets Bad News, Things Go From Bad to Worse
As you are more than aware, Carlee Russell was allegedly kidnapped while stopping to check on a toddler on the side of the road. This incident captured the attention of the public and garnered significant sympathy and support. Colleagues at the Woodhouse spa in Birmingham, where Russell worked, were devastated upon hearing the news and dedicated personal time to aid in her search.
Authorities discovered that Russell had conducted online searches about Amber alerts and the movie “Taken” in the hours leading up to her alleged kidnapping. These findings, coupled with other questionable aspects of her story, have caused many to question the veracity of her claims.
To top it all off, she has now been fired from the Woodhouse spa in Brimingham where she worked. The Woodhouse spa has faced significant backlash and negative reviews online following Russell’s alleged kidnapping. To prevent further damage, the spa had to temporarily shut down its social media channels, resulting in lost business opportunities.
Spa owner Stuart Rome expressed concern about the potential harm caused to genuine victims in the future. He emphasized that if Russell’s story is proven false, it could erode public faith in responding to actual incidents of abduction, which is the most unfortunate consequence of this situation.
Further scrutiny revealed peculiar actions by Russell before her disappearance. She took a “dark bathrobe,” a roll of toilet paper, and other items from her workplace hours before vanishing. Additionally, she stopped at a Target store to purchase granola bars and snacks after picking up takeout food. When authorities arrived at the scene following Russell’s 911 call, they discovered that the items from work and Target were missing, while her takeout food remained in the vehicle.
The Hoover Police Department expressed disbelief regarding the alleged toddler on the side of the road. They highlighted the implausibility of a barefoot toddler covering a significant distance alongside an interstate without incident. The absence of evidence supporting the presence of a child further casts doubt on Russell’s claims.
According to Russell, she was taken by a man with orange hair and a bald spot after leaving her vehicle to check on the toddler. She alleges that she was forced into a vehicle and subsequently taken to a home, where she was accompanied by the male abductor and an unidentified woman. Russell claims that she was then undressed and believes that the man and woman took explicit photographs of her.
Russell managed to escape and ran through dense woods before reaching her parents’ home, where she currently resides. When detectives arrived, they observed that she had a ripped shirt, a cut lip, and $107 cash in her right sock.
Russell’s parents defended their daughter, stating that she had gone through the trauma of false allegations. They expressed relief that she found her way back to them but refrained from discussing further details surrounding her return.
UPDATE:
Carlee Russell finally admitted that it was all a hoax on Monday night!
Carlee Russell’s attorney admits she lied about EVERYTHING.
Hoover Police should charge her with every possible crime. Disgusting.
