California is certainly leading the way in many areas. It’s just a shame that they’re going the wrong direction.

In an effort to once again pacify and cater to the tiny percentage of individuals who get upset with the word “man” or anything related to men in general, Berekely, California is removing any “offensive language” from their municipal code.

According to USA Today,

Berkeley’s municipal code will no longer feature words like “manhole” and “manpower,” and instead say, “maintenance hole” and “human effort” or “workforce.” The measure passed unanimously Tuesday and replaces more than two dozen terms.

Gender-specific references to job titles, like “policeman” and “craftsmen,” will also be changed in the code, to “police officer” and “craftspeople” or “artisans.”  

“Sorority” and “fraternity” would change to “collegiate Greek system residence.” And the use of gendered pronouns, like “he” and “she,” would be replaced with specific titles, like “the attorney” or “the candidate.”

I’m honestly surprised that people are still even okay with the word “woman” because it has “man” in it.

What about the Heimlich maneuver? Should it be the Heimlich personeuver?

Councilman Rigel Robinson, a 23-year-old recent graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, sponsored the ordinance. He tweeted, in part: “There is power in language. It’s a small move, but it matters.”

Berkeley City Manager Dee Williams-Ridley wrote in a memorandum to council, “In recent years, broadening societal awareness of transgender and gender-nonconforming identities has brought to light the importance of non-binary gender inclusivity.” (Fox News)

You know there’s something funny about manholes…

In the whole idea and fight for “gender equality” and all that hubbub, I don’t see women lining up for doing these dirty jobs like working in sewers.

They don’t want equality, they want superiority. It’s not enough for women to be equal, they need to feel better.

As crazy as things are even getting today, it’s not even enough to be better than men, they actually want to pretend that they are men!
