California Governor Gavin Newsom is as much of a scum bag as you can find.

This tyrant was actually recalled because so many people hate the guy, yet he has the audacity to try and get his name and party put on the recall ballot.

He had to actually sue his very own elections chief in order to get the Democratic designation put on the ballot because his staff forgot to file the paperwork putting his party designation on the ballot.

Newsom served a lawsuit against Secretary of State Shirley Weber in the Sacramento County trial court to get his party affiliation next to his name on the ballot on Monday as the governor faces down a potential recall election.

The procedural hiccup will cause Newsom to appear on the ballot without the Democratic Party label next to him, unless the lawsuit goes in his favor.

When asked for comment by Fox News, the California secretary of state’s office said they have a “ministerial duty to accept timely filed documents.”

“Acceptance of filings beyond a deadline requires judicial resolution,” the office said in a Tuesday statement. This means Newsom will have to get a judge to sign off on him getting his party designation next to his name.

Newsom is doing everything he possibly can to try and fix this recall election in order to retain control over the citizens of California. He’s even changed the rules of the election in order try and have a better chance at winning.

Assembly Bill 152, first proposed in the California State Assembly in January and currently under consideration by the state Senate, would “allow the Secretary of State to certify the sufficiency of the signatures before the Joint Legislative Budget Committee has had 30 days to review and comment on the estimate if the Legislature has appropriated funds it determines are reasonably necessary to conduct the recall election and has designated funds for that purpose in the Budget Act or another statute.”
