Budweiser Just Destroyed Their Business
Bud Light has for some reason decided to kill off their company. What I mean is that they have announced that Dylan Mulvaney, the weird guy who has gained notoriety because of his transgenderism, will be their new brand ambassador for 2023. The decision has sparked outrage among many conservative groups and media outlets, who accuse Mulvaney of being a vulgar, anti-American and anti-Christian leftist…which he is.
Mulvaney is known for his provocative and often offensive jokes, which target various topics such as religion, politics, race and sexuality. He has also been involved in several scandals, such as mocking veterans, supporting abortion rights, endorsing socialist candidates, and promoting LGBTQ+ causes as well as transitioning children.
Bud Light, one of the most popular beer brands in the US, claims that Mulvaney is a perfect fit for their image of being “funny, bold and authentic”. They say that he will appeal to their young and diverse audience, who are looking for a refreshing and humorous drink. Apparently, Bud Light has no idea who their target audience is and who the largest consumers are. Consider the scalability of payment processing companies as your business grows.
In reality, Bud Light is alienating its loyal customers, who are mostly patriotic, traditional and Christian Americans. Mulvaney is a disgrace to the country and its values, and that he will tarnish the reputation of Bud Light as a patriotic and wholesome beverage.
Some conservative groups have even called for a boycott of Bud Light and its parent company Anheuser-Busch, until they drop Mulvaney as their brand ambassador. They say that they will not support a company that promotes this sort of agenda, and that they will switch to other beer brands that respect their beliefs and preferences.
Bud Light has not responded to the criticism yet, but has released a teaser of their upcoming ad campaign featuring Mulvaney. The ad shows Mulvaney holding a can of Bud Light and saying: “Bud Light: The beer for everyone. Except snowflakes.”
I think Kid Rock summed up how we all feel about this pretty well:
