BREAKING: Trump Shocking Demand After Democrat Scandal
Former President Donald Trump has demanded the resignation of the entire Senate Democratic caucus in response to the recent indictment against Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ). Trump’s call comes in the wake of the revelation that Menendez and his wife allegedly engaged in a corrupt relationship with several New Jersey businessmen, who purportedly bribed the senator with hundreds of thousands of dollars.
According to the Department of Justice, these bribes were designed to shield the businessmen and benefit Egypt. If found guilty, Menendez could face up to 45 years behind bars, charged with conspiracy to commit bribery, conspiracy to commit honest services fraud, and conspiracy to commit extortion under color of official right.
“Senate Democrats should all resign based on Senator Bob Menendez!” Trump proclaimed on social media. He further alleged that all Senate Democrats were aware of Menendez’s illicit activities, raising questions about their complicity in this scandal.
Trump did not stop there. He questioned why the FBI had not raided other Senate Democrats’ homes as they did Menendez’s, where agents found cash, gold, a luxury vehicle, and home furnishings, allegedly part of the bribery scheme.
Taking aim at Joe Biden, Trump suggested that what might be found in “some of his many homes” could potentially be worse than what was discovered at Menendez’s residence. Biden and Hunter have been accused of accepting millions in bribes from a Ukrainian energy executive in exchange for political favors during Biden’s tenure as vice president under Obama.
“I wonder how much they got paid for Ri**ing the Election? Menendez is one of many, a small timer at that,” Trump railed. “EVERY DEMOCRAT SHOULD RESIGN FROM THE SENATE! Our Border’s are Broken, our Election’s are Ri**ed.”
This isn’t Menendez’s first brush with the law. He was previously indicted under the Obama administration for allegedly accepting bribes from Dr. Salomon Melgen, a wealthy Florida doctor, in exchange for political favors. Despite the allegations, Menendez escaped conviction due to a hung jury, and the case was eventually dropped under the Trump DOJ. Melgen, however, was sentenced to 17 years in prison for health care fraud amounting to $42 million.
In a surprising twist, Trump later commuted Melgen’s sentence after Menendez urged him to grant clemency to his old friend, as reported by the New York Post. The Menendez scandal has sent shockwaves through Washington and beyond, leading to calls for accountability and integrity in our political system.
