BREAKING: Police Respond to “Stabbing” Incident at Ted Cruz’s Home
Police were called to Senator Ted Cruz’s on Tuesday night after someone reported being stabbed or cut.
According to KTRK, the Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to a report of a 14-year-old suffering from wounds that were apparently self-inflicted. However, the authorities were unable to determine with certainty whether or not the teen in question was a member of Cruz’s family.
But other outlets are reporting with more certainty that this was in fact Sen. Cruz’s daughter.
To be quite honest, there were two things that immediately crossed my mind. The first was whether or not this report was some sort of hoax perpetuated by the left. What I mean is something like being “swatted” as the liberals have been doing to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
But then the second thing that I wondered about was whether or not Ted Cruz’s daughter was actually more liberal leaning and can’t stand her father’s politics and decided to harm herself as a result of her disagreement.
Well, according to The Daily Mail, I may actually be onto something here with the second theory.
The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment and there was no serious injuries.
In January, Caroline, then 13, came out as bisexual and said she disagreed with much of her father’s politics.
The teen said people are quick to judge her over her Republican dad’s politics, despite the fact that she often opposes his conservative views.
‘A lot of people judge me based upon him at first glance,’ she said in a TikTok. ‘But I really disagree with most of his views.’
She also revealed the perks and downsides of having a parent in the public eye, calling out their media team for editing the length of her shirt on the family Christmas card.
Caroline, whose TikTok account @_caro_iguess_ has since been made private, started gaining new followers after people identified her as the Texas senator’s oldest daughter.
Now, this doesn’t mean that this was why she may have harmed herself, but it can’t be ruled out yet either.
