BREAKING: Pocahontas For President? Is Elizabeth Warren REALLY Going To Run In 2020?
Well, it looks as though Pocahontas – I mean, Elizabeth Warren – is taking her first steps in pursuing a run at the presidency in 2020.
“Today, I’m launching an exploratory committee for president,” she told supporters Monday.
According to Fox News,
In her announcement, the liberal firebrand argued government “has been bought and paid for by a bunch of billionaires and giant corporations that think they get to dictate the rules that affect everyone,” calling it “corruption, pure and simple.”
“That’s not how government is supposed to work,” you know it. I know it. And we know it is time to fight back,” Warren said.
Take a look at her official announcement video she sent her supporters:
Fox News also reported,
Warren burst onto the national scene a decade ago during the financial crisis with calls for greater consumer protections. She quickly became one of the party’s more prominent liberals even as she sometimes fought with Obama administration officials over their response to the market turmoil.
Now, as a likely presidential contender, she is making an appeal to the party’s base. Her video notes the economic challenges facing people of color along with images of a women’s march and Warren’s participation at an LGBT event.
This is the same Elizabeth Warren who has sworn up and down that she was Native American and even went as far as taking a DNA test to prove her ancestry. The results? She may have had a Native American ancestor back between 6-10 generations. That hardly deems one worthy of being called a Native American.
According to NPR,
“Senator Elizabeth Warren’s formal entrance into the 2020 race for President today helps launch what we believe will be a vibrant discussion of bold, inclusive populist ideas in the Democratic Primary, and we look forward to the wide array of progressive candidates that we expect to join her in it in the year ahead,” said Charles Chamberlain, executive director of Democracy for America, in a statement. In 2014 and 2015, DFA worked with Moveon.org to encourage Warren to run for president.
Warren’s entrance into the contest to try and challenge President Trump in 2020 is a development he’s likely to relish. Trump has frequently delighted in derisively calling Warren “Pocahontas,” a reference to her 2012 campaign against Republican Scott Brown when he claimed she had misrepresented her family’s Cherokee heritage for professional gain.
I think Ronna McDaniel’s tweet on Monday sums it up:
Senator Warren couldn’t be more out of touch. Americans will see her for what she is: another extreme far-left obstructionist and a total fraud.

Well, what do you think? We’ve had our first black president, now do you think we’ll get our first “Native American” president?
