BREAKING! Identity of Ashli Babbitt’s Killer Confirmed!
After six months, we’ve finally got an identity on the man who is responsible for the death of Ashli Babbitt.
I’m sure most of you remember who that is, but just in case you don’t recognize the name, Ashli Babbitt is the woman who was shot and killed by a Capitol police officer.
For six months now, his identity has been hidden from the public. But that all changes now.
Tucker Carlson asked the Aaron Babbitt’s attorney, Terrell Roberts, about the identity of the officer.
“Mr. Roberts, let me ask you, there are reports online, that seem credible I don’t know if they’re true, that the Capitol Hill police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt, I’m not going to mention the name, was the same officer that left his loaded handgun in a public men’s room on the Capitol. Do you believe that is the officer, it seems like a very reckless person, who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt on January 6th?”
Mr. Roberts responded affirmatively, “That’s my belief. That’s my belief.”
Okay…so who is this guy then? Well, who was it that left a firearm in the bathroom?
According to Roll Call,
A U.S. Capitol Police lieutenant left his service weapon in a bathroom Monday night and the unattended gun was discovered later by another Capitol Police officer.
After the House adjourned on Monday, Lt. Mike Byrd left his Glock 22 in a bathroom in the Capitol Visitor Center complex, according to sources familiar with the incident. Byrd is the commander of the House Chambers section of the Capitol Police and was on the job Tuesday and Wednesday.
Byrd addressed the incident at Tuesday morning’s officer roll call and, according to sources, told fellow officers that he “will be treated differently” because of his rank as a lieutenant. It was not clear what exactly the lieutenant meant by the comment.
Now, compare that with some of the video footage we have on the event.
Take note of the handkerchief in the pocket, the pin, and the bracelet on his wrist. What do you think?
UPDATE: Acting House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms accidentally confirmed this fact.
