Customs and Border Protection have just reported that there has been at least one case of a child being “recycled” by an adult to get them into the country.

The incident happened on Wednesday last week. During processing, the border agents picked on on several inconsistencies with the story they were being told.

According to KFOX 14,

Officials with the U.S. Border Patrol said they found a “recycled” migrant child while family groups in custody were being processed on Wednesday.

Agents said they found a family group with several inconsistencies that led agents to suspect that the child and alleged parent were not related.

Officials were able to get enough evidence to determine that the child had been “recycled” in at least two prior instances.

The term “recycled” is used to refer to migrants that border agents have seen before.

This isn’t news to us conservatives. We’ve known that this has been going on for a while now.

They’re even advertising it in these other countries. That’s why they’re all rushing over here all of a sudden.

The Washington Examiner was riding along with Reps. John Joyce of Pennsylvania, Pete Stauber of Minnesota, Dusty Johnson of South Dakota, Andy Biggs of Arizona, and Gaetz Tuesday night when officials leading the tour pointed to a group of more than 40 people who had just crossed through the Colorado River south of the Morelos Dam and surrendered to Border Patrol agents less than a quarter-mile into the U.S.

“Right now, they’re getting their biographical information: name, first name, last name, date of birth, nationality. Right now, they may ask them where they’re going — how many people, if it was a family unit, were they by themselves, were they minors?” an agent, who spoke on background, told the group of lawmakers.

“Every one has a kid, at least one. Every one has a kid,” one congressman reacted at the scene.

The El Paso Times reports,

Immigration authorities call the practice “recycling,” explaining that migrant children are grouped with unrelated adult migrants to appear as families when apprehended.

Border Patrol officials say transnational criminal organizations orchestrate the practice, so they can profit from smuggling migrants into the United States, which helps migrants skirt the immigration process through fraud.

“These groups have no concern for the welfare or safety of the children and family groups being smuggled to the Southwest Border,” a Border Patrol news release said. “The U.S. Border Patrol has continuously warned about the existence of this type of illicit activity and exploitation of minors.”

Let’s get that wall finished so we can protect not only our people, but the children who are being abused by smugglers coming into the country.
