Nancy Pelosi rejected the idea of having Jim Jordan and Jim Banks on the 13-member committee that is supposed to investigate the event that took place on January 6th.

Pelosi knows that they’ll actually look into the matter honestly and not the way that Pelosi wants them to. She would have them only look at the things that follow her assumptions and ignore other things like the police opening the barriers and the doors for them so they can enter the Capitol building.

She defended this decision saying, “It’s my responsibility as the speaker of the House to get to the truth on this. And we will not allow their antics stand in the way of that.”

Part of the reason, at least in my opinion, that she rejected those two but accepted Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger is because she has something to hide. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called them “Pelosi Republicans” which we definitely know that to be true for Liz Cheney. That’s why she was removed from leadership by the rest of the Republicans.

We’ve heard already that there was an actual rejection of help on January 6th and it’s believed that Pelosi may have been the one behind it.

“Due to the rules of the United States Capitol, the power structure of the Capitol, Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, has more control and authority and responsibility over the leadership of the Capitol Police than anyone else in the United States Capitol. “So she doesn’t want us to ask these questions because at the end of the day, she is ultimately responsible for the breakdown of security at the capitol that happened on January 6,” he said.
