Facebook has been exposed once again! This time one of the senior executives was caught on an undercover video making some stunning admissions about Facebook.

Benny Thomas is the Global Planning Lead for Facebook and told us some things that many of us already have suspected and what many of us believe already.

According to Fox News,

A Facebook executive has been caught on tape sounding the alarm about how “powerful” the company has gotten and calling for the federal government to intervene and break up the tech giant.

Newly released recordings from the right-wing guerilla news outlet Project Veritas show Benny Thomas, Facebook’s Global Planning Lead, speaking candidly with undercover journalists over the past several weeks.

“I work for a company that is doing a lot of damage in the world,” Thomas is heard saying. “It’s doing a lot of good, but it’s doing a lot of damage.”

“I mean, no king in history has been the ruler of two billion people, but Mark Zuckerberg is,” Thomas said of Facebook’s CEO. “And he’s 36. That’s too much for a 36-year-old … You should not have power over two billion people. I just think that’s wrong.”

I completely agree with Thomas’ statement that Facebook is doing a lot of good, but doing a lot of damage at the same time. This is exactly how I feel. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without Facebook and that’s on many different levels.

Facebook has opened the lines of communication with people all over the world and because of this, I’ve learned a lot different things that have improved me as a person and has got me to the point that I do what I do for a living.

However, it has also created a safe space for people to be rude and hateful without any fear of repercussions and this is what has been extremely damaging. People used to not talk about politics so as to keep peace and now everyone talks about it and looks for a fight.
