Big Admission on Hunter Biden’s Laptop Story Comes from Twitter’s Ex-Top Censor
Yoel Roth, the former chief censor at Twitter, has admitted that the censoring of the initial story in October 2020 that revealed information from wayward First Son Hunter Biden’s missing laptop was a “mistake,” amid concerns that the cover-up may have swayed the 2020 presidential election in favor of Joe Biden and to the disadvantage of President Trump.
Hunter Biden’s infamous “laptop from hell” was abandoned in a Delaware computer store in 2020 before leaking information to the FBI and right-wing media sources like The New York Post and The Daily Mail, which revealed a number of shocking family secrets.
The leaked information has shown Hunter’s massive drug, alcohol, and prostitution addictions as well as his very dubious international business transactions, raising questions about whether Joe Biden was also involved.
The New York Post’s initial coverage of the laptop leaks was promptly restricted by Twitter, which suspended the outlet’s account for 16 days apparently owing to a regulation prohibiting the use of “hacked” materials.
To keep the truth from American voters in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election, the mainstream media either chose to ignore the news or blamed it on “Russian disinformation.”
In an interview with Joe Rogan earlier this year, Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg acknowledged that the FBI had pushed his social media network to hide the Hunter Biden laptop story.
Yoel Roth, a “far-left extremist” according to conservative media, led Twitter’s “Trust and Safety” department until he resigned early last month when Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, acquired the platform in a $44 billion deal.
Roth’s statement came as Musk said that he could soon make internal corporate records available to the public, which would show the truth regarding the 2020 social media platform’s censoring of the Hunter Biden laptop disclosures.
In an interview with journalist Kara Swisher, as published by The Daily Mail, Twitter’s Marxist-Communist former “trust and safety” chief Yoel Roth stated that the laptop narrative cover-up was “a mistake.”
Roth, however, maintained that at the time, the social media platform had no method of confirming the veracity of the laptop leaks, despite the fact that The New York Post staff had already done that for it, to justify the relentless filtering of the truth regarding Hunter and Joe Biden.
The former Commie Twitter executive stated that when the Post published the Hunter Biden story based on information from his “laptop from hell,” “there was smoke,” and that “we didn’t knowwhat to believe.”
According to Roth, he never reached a point where doing so would have made him feel “comfortable.”
But he claimed that his “alarm bells” about reports of “hack and leak campaigns” had been “set off” by the NYP article.
Roth claimed, though, that he had never believed the laptop story should have been taken down from Twitter.
The 2020 laptop tale censoring was already deemed a “total mistake” by Twitter’s then-CEO, Jack Dorsey, last year. However, he attributed it to the platform’s “incorrect interpretation” of its own “hacked materials policy.”
