Biden’s Secretary of Energy Fails to Answer Basic Question About Her Job, “How Many Barrels of Oil Does the US Consume?”
When it comes to a doing a job, especially an important government job, you need to have an idea about what you’re doing.
If you were in charge of ordering the food products for a restaurant, wouldn’t you need to know how much you use on a daily and weekly basis?
As someone who has been in charge of ordering inventory before, I can say that this is absolutely true. You do have to know what you consume in order to be sure that you order enough to not run out of supplies.
Well, apparently, being on the Biden staff doesn’t mean you have to know how to do your job. You just have to be a woman, a person of color, or some part of another marginalized group.
Jennifer Granholm, who is the Secretary of Energy under the Biden regime, was holding a press conference this week after Biden had announced that he was releasing 50 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to try and soften gas prices going into the holidays.
A reporter asked Granholm, “How many barrels of oil does the U.S. consume per day?”
Her response beats all that I’ve ever seen. Granholm replied, “I don’t have that number in front of me. I’m sorry.”

She doesn’t know that number by heart? That’s an easy thing to know and as someone who is supposed to be the Secretary of ENERGY…it is literally her job to manage this. How is she going to be able to manage this at all when she doesn’t even know how to do her job?
What the heck is she even doing out there if all she can do is give information that’s in front of her, yet she doesn’t have the right information in front of her?
This lady is about as worthless as they come.
