Biden Says He’s Willing to Sacrifice Our Jobs and Prosperous Economy to Transition to “Green Economy” (VIDEO)
If you want a glimpse of what Americans are in store for if Joe Biden is elected President, then look no further than what he said during the last debate about what he’s prepared to do to our booming economy.
The moderator asked, “Three consecutive American Presidents have enjoyed stints of explosive economic growth due to a boom in oil and natural gas production. As president, would you be willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of blue-collar workers in the interest of transitioning to that greener economy?”
Without even batting an eye, Biden said, “The answer is yes!”
His idea is that these blue-collar workers would be able to transition into high paying jobs within green energy companies. I guess he’s thinking about Solyndra and how great that situation turned out.
The government gave Solyndra $500 million and they still couldn’t work things out.
It makes no logical sense to put hundreds of thousands of people out of work to pursue a drastic green energy economy. This would do so much damage that it would last for decades.
According to Fox News,
The former vice president provided an example of how in moving to a green energy economy, new jobs would replace lost jobs.
“We shouldn’t build another new highway in America that doesn’t have charging stations on it. We have an opportunity to put 550,000 charging stations so that we own the electrical vehicle market, creating millions of jobs for people installing them, as well making sure that we own electric vehicle market,” Biden explained.
But he insisted that “we have to make sure we explain it to those people who are displaced that their skills are going to be needed for the new opportunities.”
The pro-Republican America Rising PAC quickly picked up on Biden’s answer, comparing it to a line Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton made during the 2016 debates with then GOP nominee Donald Trump.
“The Biden line sounds familiar, doesn’t it?,” wrote America Rising Press Secretary Joe Gierut.
He then highlighted Clinton’s line from 2016 when she said “we’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”
