Biden Gets Blasted After Telling Terrorists When We Won’t Be Able to Stop Them
Would you tell a burglar when you plan on leaving your house and that no one would be home? Of course not! No one in their right mind would do something like that.
But Joe Biden isn’t in his right mind and that is essentially what he did this week.
Biden made an announcement that he is going to pull all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan by September 11, 2021. This will be the 20th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Centers in New York City, a day that we’ll never forget.
Now, he’s receiving a lot of backlash for announcing this. Max Abrams, who is a professor at Northeastern University and an expert on terrorism said this:
“Biden botched Afghanistan. Any attacks against Americans after May 1 will be on him. If he foot drags on leaving after 9/11 he will also look bad & if we must return after that date he will look bad. We could have quietly packed up and left in accordance with the Doha deal. Imagine the optics if America is pulling out of Afghanistan on 9/11 under fire from the Taliban. This is such an avoidable shame.”

They’re saying that the risk is opening the doors to more chaos and bloodshed from the Taliban. This is basically just handing over the country back over to the terrorists. The Taliban actually controls more territory in Afghanistan right now then they did 20 years ago.
So what exactly did we accomplish here? Well, basically nothing. Yes, Osama Bin Laden is dead, but the Taliban is better off than they were initially. This is our modern-day version of the Vietnam war where we’re just throwing in the towel and giving up. The war in Afghanistan is a failure and there isn’t anything we can do to help the country out. Their problems are bigger than what American’s can help with.
