Biden Administration Recent Decision on Border Wall Construction Will Blow You Away!
Well, well, well…look what the cat dragged in!
Who would have ever imagined this day would come? I sure did!
One of the first orders of business, when Joe Biden was sworn into office, was to shut down the construction of the border wall between the US and Mexico.
We all know that that was a terrible decision and that has even played out practically in that we have seen a massive surge of people coming to the border trying to get into the country and being detained. In fact, people are being unlawfully detained at the border because there is a maximum capacity that’s allowed and the Biden administration has exceeded that number. The last time I saw a count there were approximately 18,000 children currently being held at the border this never happened under President Trump’s watch.
Well, now guess what is happening? The Biden administration is now considering restarting the border wall construction in order to plug gaps to help slow down or stop this crisis at the border.
Biden Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said during a conversation with ICE employees last week that the administration was considering finishing “gaps in the wall.”
“It’s not a single answer to a single question. There are different projects that the chief of the Border Patrol has presented and the acting commissioner of CBP presented to me,” Mayorkas said, according to notes of the ICE session reviewed by The Washington Times. “The president has communicated quite clearly his decision that the emergency that triggered the devotion of DOD funds to the construction of the border wall is ended. But that leaves room to make decisions as the administration, as part of the administration, in particular areas of the wall that need renovation, particular projects that need to be finished.”
The Times said that Mayorkas specifically mentioned those “particular projects” included “gaps,” “gates,” and areas “where the wall has been completed but the technology has not been implemented.”
This would have never happened in the first place if Biden would have taken half a second to really consider the ramification of his decision to completely shut down construction on the wall.
