As More and More Biden Accusers Come Forward, Obama Remains Silent
As Joe Biden has been preparing for possibly making a declaration for running for the office of President in the upcoming election in 2020, women, one after another, have been coming forward and claiming former Vice President Joe Biden has touched them inappropriately during public gatherings.
One thing that seems a bit odd is the response from former President Barack Obama. That is, there has been no response from Obama.
According to The Hill,
“President Obama thinks the world of him and thinks he’d be an excellent president,” one source close to Obama who has spoken to him in recent weeks told The Hill.
“He’s spent an infinite amount of time talking about his character, and they remain in touch and good friends,” the source said.
But Obama has so far refrained from weighing in on news events, much less the emerging Democratic presidential primary contest, those close to him noted, leaving it unclear whether the current controversy surrounding Biden could be an exception.
“President Obama is not going to be weighing in on the primary and the day-to-day stories around it,” the source said. “And Joe Biden would be the first to tell you that he’ll have to earn the nomination on his own.”
One person, however, who has not remained silent on the matter is President Trump.
On the President’s Twitter account, he tweeted a hilarious video that has already gone viral of Joe Biden caressing himself and sniffing his hair, along with a message that reads, “WELCOME BACK JOE!”.

As of right now, the number of women who have come out with allegations against the former vice president is up to seven.
These women are Lucy Flores, Amy Lappos, D.J. Hill, Caitlyn Caruso, Ally Coll, Sofie Karasek, and Vail Kohnert-Yount.
I would expect that there will still be more to come as time goes on. Hopefully, the claims will be thoroughly investigated.
