Armed Man with Body Armor Attempts to Break into FBI Building Days After Mar-a-Lago Raid
On Thursday, law enforcement officers in Ohio were engaged in a tense standoff with an armed man who had earlier made threats against the FBI building in Cincinnati, which had led to a pursuit and a gunfight.
The incident started when the gunman “attempted to breach the Visitor Screening Facility” at around 9 a.m., the FBI’s Cincinnati office confirmed, and the suspect fled north “after an alarm and a response by FBI special agents,” the office added.
According to NBC News, which cited two sources for its information, the suspect brandished an AR-15 style weapon and fired a nail gun at FBI officials inside the agency facility before fleeing the scene.
According to the Clinton County Emergency Management Agency, law enforcement officials shut down Interstate 71 and State Route 73 in both directions. They also issued a lockdown order to inhabitants of Clinton County, which is located northeast of the city.
The Emergency Medical Services Agency reported that the suspect was dressed in body armor and a gray shirt.
According to Ohio’s News Journal, law enforcement officials and the suspect engaged in a firefight later on as they were holding a standoff in a cornfield. Later on, Clinton County Emergency Medical Services acknowledged that shots were fired between law enforcement and the suspect, although they did not indicate where.
At approximately 12:30 in the afternoon, the EMA reported that the suspect “is contained” but had not yet been taken into custody. The lockdown that had been implemented throughout the region remained in effect, but there was no longer an ongoing danger at the FBI office in Cincinnati.
This event takes place three days after the FBI raided President Trump’s estate at Mar-a-Lago in Florida based on a warrant that dealt with presidential records and evidence of classified information being improperly stored at the resort. The warrant was reportedly based on evidence that classified information was improperly stored at the resort.
I know I may sound like a conspiracy theorist, but how much money do you want to bet that this was a planned event by the Democrats? They know that the whole FBI raid hurt the Democrats and made Trump looks even better by proving him right.
If I had to guess, within the next couple of days, they’re going to start reporting that this was some crazed Trump supporter who was mad about them raiding Mar-a-Lago. Watch and see.
